Dental Implant Bridge

Remove your dentures with a Dental Implant Bridge

The Dental Implant bridge is the latest innovation in implant dentistry, and is now available at Dental Excel. Developed for people who wear removable dentures, this new technique enables you to have a complete upper or lower set of teeth permanently secured on as few as four dental implants.

Dental Implants are made of titanium, which naturally integrate with bone and replicate a natural tooth root. Traditionally dental implants are all the same length and are placed vertically, supporting a single or only several artificial teeth.

With the Dental Implant Bridge system some of the implants are longer, allowing them to be placed at an acute angle. This enables a bridge or denture to be supported by the implants at the front of the mouth where your jawbone is denser and stronger.

For some people who have been missing teeth for a period of time, it’s possible they may have lost some bone density. Previously, these patients would have required bone graft surgery to restore the lost bone. This can take up to six months to heal before the dental implants can be placed. The Implant Bridge system at Dental Excel utilises the existing bone and often negates the need for bone grafts.

Another benefit of the new Dental Implant Bridge system is it significantly reduces the number of dental implants required for securing a complete denture. This helps restore your smile more quickly and cost-effectively.
